Anti-TBL1X antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transducin beta like 1 X-linked. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 577 amino acid residues and a mass of 62.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 2 different isoforms for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. A member of a the WD repeat EBI protein family, TBL1X is known to be a F-box-like protein involved in the recruitment of the ubiquitin/19S proteasome complex to nuclear receptor-regulated transcription units. Synonyms for this target antigen include EBI, SMAP55, TBL1, F-box-like/WD repeat-containing protein TBL1X, transducin beta-like protein 1X, and CHNG8.
