Anti-Splicing factor proline and glutamine rich antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene SFPQ in humans. The gene may also be known as POMP100, PPP1R140, PSF, 100 kDa DNA-pairing protein, and DNA-binding p52/p100 complex, 100 kDa subunit. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 76.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
