Anti-FIGN antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein fidgetin, microtubule severing factor. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 759 amino acid residues and a mass of 82.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the AAA ATPase protein family, FIGN is known to be involved with the cell cycle. The FIGN marker can be used to identify Brain Splatter Neurons.* Synonyms for this target antigen include fidgetin. FIGN gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the FIGN antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
