Anti-CDK3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cyclin dependent kinase 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 305 amino acid residues and a mass of 35 kDa. It is reported to be expressed in cancer cell lines and glioblastoma tissue. A member of the CMGC Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family, CDK3 is a type of serine/threonine-protein kinase that plays a critical role in the control of the eukaryotic cell cycle; involved in G0-G1 and G1-S cell cycle transitions. Synonyms for this target antigen include cell division protein kinase 3. CDK3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of CDK3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
