Anti-PTTG1IP antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein PTTG1 interacting protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 180 amino acid residues and a mass of 20.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. PTTG1IP is believed to facilitate PTTG1 nuclear translocation. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include C21orf3, PBF, PTTG1IP1, pituitary tumor-transforming gene 1 protein-interacting protein, and C21orf1.
