Anti-PRB1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein proline rich protein BstNI subfamily 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 392 amino acid residues and a mass of 38.6 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. Post-translational modifications have been described, including O-glycosylation and protein cleavage. Synonyms for this target antigen include PMF, PMS, PRB1L, PRB1M, basic salivary proline-rich protein 1, and PM. PRB1 gene orthologs have been reported in the zebrafish species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the PRB1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
