Anti-CPXM1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein carboxypeptidase X, M14 family member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 734 amino acid residues and a mass of 81.7 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. A member of the Peptidase M14 protein family, CPXM1 is suspected to be involved in cell-cell interactions. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include carboxypeptidase X (M14 family), member 1, carboxypeptidase-like protein X1, metallocarboxypeptidase CPX-1, and probable carboxypeptidase X1. CPXM1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the CPXM1 antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
