Anti-CSNK2A3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein casein kinase 2 alpha 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 391 amino acid residues and a mass of 45.2 kDa. It is notably expressed in blood platelets and megakaryocyte cell lines. A member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family, CSNK2A3 is a suspected catalytic subunit of a constitutively active serine/threonine-protein kinase complex that phosphorylates a large number of substrates containing acidic residues C-terminal to the phosphorylated serine or threonine. Synonyms for this target antigen include casein kinase 2, alpha 1 polypeptide pseudogene, casein kinase 2, alpha 3 polypeptide, and casein kinase II subunit alpha 3. Western Blot is a widely used application for the CSNK2A3 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
