Anti-OR6Y1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 6 subfamily Y member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 325 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 6Y2, olfactory receptor OR1-11, and olfactory receptor 6Y1. OR6Y1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR6Y1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
