Anti-OR1E2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 1 subfamily E member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 323 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR1E2 is known to be involved with signal transduction pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include OR17-136, OR17-93, OR1E4, OR1E7, OST529, olfactory receptor 1E2, olfactory receptor 17-93/17-135/17-136, and OR17-135. OR1E2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and rat species. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR1E2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
