Anti-OR2V1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 2 subfamily V member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 315 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include OST265, olfactory receptor 2V1, olfactory receptor, family 2, subfamily V, member 1 pseudogene, and OR2V1P. OR2V1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR2V1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
