Anti-SCGB1C1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein secretoglobin family 1C member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 95 amino acid residues and a mass of 10.4 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. It is a member of the Secretoglobin protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include ligand binding protein RYD5 and secretoglobin RYD5. SCGB1C1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. These SCGB1C1 antibodies are widely used in ELISA experiments, among other applications.
