Anti-BHLHE23 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein basic helix-loop-helix family member e23. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 225 amino acid residues and a mass of 23.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. BHLHE23 is believed to function as a transcriptional repressor. Synonyms for this target antigen include basic helix-loop-helix domain containing, class B, 4, class B basic helix-loop-helix protein 4, and class E basic helix-loop-helix protein 23. BHLHE23 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These BHLHE23 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
