Anti-ubiquitin like 3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the UBL3 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 117 amino acid residues and a mass of 13.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include PNSC1, ubiquitin-like protein 3, MUB, hsMUB, membrane-anchored ubiquitin-fold protein, protein HCG-1, and HCG-1.
