Anti-NCKAP5L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein NCK associated protein 5 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1334 amino acid residues and a mass of 139.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. NCKAP5L is reported to regulate microtubule organization and stabilization. Post-translational modifications have been described, including phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include NCKAP5-like and centrosomal protein of 169 kDa. NCKAP5L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the NCKAP5L antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
