Anti-IGFL1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein IGF like family member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 110 amino acid residues and a mass of 12.4 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. It is notably expressed in ovary and spinal cord. A member of the IGFL protein family, IGFL1 is a suspected ligand of the IGFLR1 cell membrane receptor. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include insulin growth factor-like family member 1. IGFL1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the IGFL1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
