Anti-DIPK1C antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein divergent protein kinase domain 1C. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 419 amino acid residues and a mass of 46.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the testis, hippocampus, cerebral cortex, and cerebellum. It is a member of the DIPK protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include family with sequence similarity 69 member C, protein FAM69C, and familial non-conventional Alzheimer's dementia. DIPK1C gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
