Anti-FAM126A antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The FAM126A antigen is another term for the human protein hyccin PI4KA lipid kinase complex subunit 1, encoded by the HYCC1 gene. The protein is a known component of the complex required to localize phosphatidylinositol 4-kinase (PI4K) to the plasma membrane. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 521 residues and a mass of 57.6 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and cytoplasm and it is widely expressed across many tissue types. The FAM126A protein is a member of the Hyccin protein family. Some FAM126A antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
