Anti-PRRC1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein proline rich coiled-coil 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 445 amino acid residues and a mass of 46.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the Golgi. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the PRRC1 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein PRRC1 and proline-rich and coiled-coil-containing protein 1. PRRC1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for the PRRC1 antibodies listed below. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
