Anti-OR6K6 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 6 subfamily K member 6. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 343 amino acid residues and a mass of 38.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 6K6 and olfactory receptor OR1-21. OR6K6 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR6K6 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
