Anti-HECTD2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein HECT domain E3 ubiquitin protein ligase 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 776 amino acid residues and a mass of 88.1 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. HECTD2 is known to be involved with protein ubiquitination. Synonyms for this target antigen include HECT domain containing E3 ubiquitin protein ligase 2, HECT domain-containing protein 2, HECT-type E3 ubiquitin transferase HECTD2, and probable E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase HECTD2. HECTD2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some HECTD2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
