Anti-FAM167A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein family with sequence similarity 167 member A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 214 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.2 kDa. It is reported to be expressed in skin, including primary keratinocytes, spleen, kidney, leukocytes, testis, lung, small intestine and prostate. It is a member of the FAM167 (SEC) protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein FAM167A and disordered autoimmunity 1. FAM167A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. ELISA is the most common application for the FAM167A antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
