Anti-CACUL1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein CDK2 associated cullin domain 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 369 amino acid residues and a mass of 41.1 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. A member of the Cullin protein family, CACUL1 is known to be involved with the regulation of cell proliferation. Synonyms for this target antigen include Cdk-Associated Cullin1, cdk-associated cullin 1, cullin, and CDK2-associated and cullin domain-containing protein 1. CACUL1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of CACUL1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
