Anti-OR5AU1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 5 subfamily AU member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 362 amino acid residues and a mass of 40.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 5AU1 and olfactory receptor OR14-38. OR5AU1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR5AU1 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
