Anti-CCL25 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein C-C motif chemokine ligand 25. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 150 amino acid residues and a mass of 16.6 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the small intestine. A member of the Intercrine beta (chemokine CC) protein family, CCL25 is suspected to be involved in T-cell development.
The CCL25 marker can be used to identify Cortical Thymic Epithelial Cells and Corticomedullary Thymic Epithelial Cells.* Synonyms for this target antigen include Ckb15, SCYA25, TECK, TECKvar, C-C motif chemokine 25, chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 25, chemokine TECK, and Ck beta-15. CCL25 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. A number of CCL25 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
