Anti-trichohyalin like 1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the TCHHL1 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 904 amino acid residues and a mass of 99.3 kDa. The trichohyalin like 1 protein is a member of the S-100 protein family. Other names for this target antigen include S100 calcium-binding protein A17, basalin, intermediate filament-associated protein, and trichohyalin-like protein 1.
