Anti-OR2A4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 2 subfamily A member 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 310 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR2A4 is known to be involved with cell division and cytoskeleton organization. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 2A10, olfactory receptor OR6-37, olfactory receptor, family 2, subfamily A, member 10, and olfactory receptor 2A4. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR2A4 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
