Anti-TMA7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein translation machinery associated 7 homolog. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 64 amino acid residues and a mass of 7.1 kDa. It is reported to be expressed in dermal papilla cells with aggregative behavior. It is a member of the TMA7 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include HSPC016, translation machinery-associated protein 7, coiled-coil domain containing 72, coiled-coil domain-containing protein 72, translational machinery associated 7 homolog, and CCDC72. TMA7 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the TMA7 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
