Anti-OR5AS1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 5 subfamily AS member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 324 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 5AS1 and olfactory receptor OR11-168. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence are common applications for OR5AS1 antibodies.
