Anti-TOMM20L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein translocase of outer mitochondrial membrane 20 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 152 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria. It is notably expressed in the testis. It is a member of the Tom20 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include translocase of outer mitochondrial membrane 20 homolog type I, translocase of outer mitochondrial membrane 20 homolog-like, and TOMM20-like protein 1. TOMM20L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the TOMM20L antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
