Anti-OR6S1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 6 subfamily S member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 331 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 6S1 and olfactory receptor OR14-37. OR6S1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR6S1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
