Anti-OR5AP2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 5 subfamily AP member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 316 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR5AP2 is known to be involved with GPCR signaling pathways and the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 5AP2 and olfactory receptor, family 9, subfamily J, member 1. OR5AP2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse species. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR5AP2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
