Anti-OR2B2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 2 subfamily B member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 357 amino acid residues and a mass of 40.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 2B9, olfactory receptor 6-1, olfactory receptor OR6-2, olfactory receptor, family 2, subfamily B, member 9, and olfactory receptor 2B2. OR2B2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR2B2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
