Anti-GAB4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein GRB2 associated binding protein family member 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 574 amino acid residues and a mass of 62.4 kDa. A member of the GAB protein family, GAB4 is known to be involved with signal transduction pathways. Synonyms for this target antigen include GRB2-associated binder 2-like protein, GRB2-associated binder 4, growth factor receptor bound protein 2-associated protein 4, and GRB2-associated-binding protein 4. GAB4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for GAB4 antibodies.
