Anti-OR5F1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 5 subfamily F member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 314 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR5F1 is known to be involved with the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 11-10, olfactory receptor OR11-167, and olfactory receptor 5F1. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR5F1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
