Anti-OR5B3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 5 subfamily B member 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 314 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR5B3 is known to be involved with GPCR signaling pathways and the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 5B13, olfactory receptor OR11-239, olfactory receptor, family 5, subfamily B, member 13, and olfactory receptor 5B3. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the OR5B3 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
