Anti-OR1S2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 1 subfamily S member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 325 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR1S2 is known to be involved with signal transduction pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 1S2 and olfactory receptor OR11-231. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR1S2 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
