Anti-INKA1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein inka box actin regulator 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 287 amino acid residues and a mass of 31.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. A member of the INKA protein family, INKA1 is known as an inhibitor of the serine/threonine-protein kinase PAK4. Synonyms for this target antigen include HInca, Induced in Neural Crest by AP-2alpha, family with sequence similarity 212 member A, induced in neural crest by AP2-alpha protein homolog, protein FAM212A, and PAK4-inhibitor INKA1. INKA1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some INKA1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
