Anti-WBSCR22 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target WBSCR22 is a known alias name of the protein BUD23 rRNA methyltransferase and ribosome maturation factor, encoded by the BUD23 gene in humans. This 281-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a S-adenosyl-L-methionine-dependent methyltransferase that specifically methylates the N(7) position of a guanine in 18S rRNA. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be widely expressed, with high levels in the heart, skeletal muscle and kidney. Indicated applications for WBSCR22 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
