Anti-Synaptosome associated protein 29 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene SNAP29 in humans. The gene may also be known as CEDNIK, Gs32, SNAP 29, synaptosome associated protein 29kDa, synaptosomal-associated protein 29, and SNAP-29. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 29 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, plant, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
