Anti-OR8H1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 8 subfamily H member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 311 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR8H1 is known to be involved with GPCR signaling pathways and the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 8H1 and olfactory receptor OR11-180. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR8H1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
