Anti-MEX3C antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein mex-3 RNA binding family member C. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 659 amino acid residues and a mass of 69.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. MEX3C is known to be involved with the regulation of cell differentiation. Synonyms for this target antigen include RKHD2, RNF194, RNA-binding E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase MEX3C, RING finger and KH domain-containing protein 2, RING finger protein 194, and BM-013. MEX3C gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Some MEX3C antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
