There are over 390 anti-CXCL16 antibodies from over 30 different suppliers shown below. Choose from either monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies for a variety of applications, such as Western blot, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, IHC and immunofluorescence.
In humans, this target is encoded by the gene, C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 16 (CXCL16). Orthologs for CXCL16 have also been reported in other species, including mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee.
The canonical CXCL16 protein is 254 amino acids in length, 27.6 kDa in mass, and has a secreted and membrane subcellular localization. It is a member of the Intercrine alpha (chemokine CxC) protein family. CXCL16 functions in low-density lipoprotein particle receptor activity and chemokine activity, as well as having a role in GPCR signaling. Tissue-specific expression of CXCL16 has been observed in several tissues, including brain, kidney, liver, heart, lung, spleen, intestine and thymus. Post-translational modifications have been described, notably glycosylation.
Synonyms for this protein include: CXCLG16; SR-PSOX; SRPSOX; C-X-C motif chemokine 16; CXC chemokine ligand 16; chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 16.
