Anti-ATP binding cassette subfamily A member 4 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ABCA4 in humans. The gene may also be known as ABCR, CORD3, FFM, ABC10, ARMD2, and retinal-specific phospholipid-transporting ATPase ABCA4. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 255.9 kilodaltons in mass. The ABCA4 marker can be used to identify Choroid Plexus Non-Neuronal Cells.* Based on gene name, plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
