Anti-OR9G4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 9 subfamily G member 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 327 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR9G4 is known to be involved with GPCR signaling pathways and the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 9G4 and olfactory receptor OR11-216. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR9G4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
