Anti-CFAP157 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cilia and flagella associated protein 157. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 520 amino acid residues and a mass of 60.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the nasopharynx, fallopian tube, endometrium, and bronchus. It is a member of the CFAP157 protein family. CFAP157 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the CFAP157 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
