Anti-ABHD18 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein abhydrolase domain containing 18. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 414 amino acid residues and a mass of 47 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the AB hydrolase protein superfamily. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include abhydrolase domain-containing protein 18, alpha/beta hydrolase domain-containing protein 18, and protein ABHD18. ABHD18 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some ABHD18 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for these antibodies.
