Anti-FHIP2B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein FHF complex subunit HOOK interacting protein 2B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 743 amino acid residues and a mass of 82.3 kDa. It is notably expressed in the liver. It is a member of the FHIP protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein FAM160B2, retinoic acid induced 16, retinoic acid-induced protein 16, and family with sequence similarity 160 member B2. FHIP2B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species.
