Anti-EPS8 like 1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the EPS8L1 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 723 amino acid residues and a mass of 80.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 4 different isoforms for this protein. It is notably expressed in placenta. The EPS8 like 1 protein is a member of the EPS8 protein family. Other names for this target antigen include EPS8R1, PP10566, epidermal growth factor receptor kinase substrate 8-like protein 1, EPS8-like protein 1, EPS8-related protein 1, and DRC3.
