Anti-EMSY, BRCA2-interacting transcriptional repressor antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target EMSY, BRCA2-interacting transcriptional repressor is a known alias name of the protein EMSY transcriptional repressor, BRCA2 interacting, encoded by the EMSY gene in humans. This 1322-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in chromatin organization and DNA repair, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features O-glycosylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
